Call of Duty Modern Warfare - Best Video Game Ever?

I can remember it well...

I was a PS3 kind of guy - my friends were all Xbox.

I complained about Xbox's clumsy controllers and expensive online Xbox Live annual membership, whereas, Playstation Network has free online gaming.

Nonetheless, I couldn't play them.

I gathered up enough funds to purchase one from Gamestop. With it, a few games. Racing, flying, adventure, but what was this Call of Duty Game...?

I don't do first person shooters... but the graphics look sweet.... I like war games... I've still got $50 bucks to spend... Let's throw in a used copy of this Call of Duty Modern warfare game and try it out after I'm done with the games I really wanted.

After fumbling with the Xbox controls and paying my $50 Xbox live fee and creating a gamertag, I enjoyed my racing and flying games.

The next day I popped in this senseless war game to give it a test drive.

CALL OF DUTY - "Dah da dah da dum.... (the music orchestrated..)

My nerves gripping the controller with tight trigger fingers... into battle... I was in awe!

Breathtaking graphics and fluid gameplay was an elaborate lift in modern gaming. I was hooked, and Modern warfare was my pleasure...!

Hour after hour I played Call of Duty, shooting and getting shot. This was truly the most groundbreaking game I have ever played to date.

Next came the dreams...

For a month or more my nightly dreams insisted on myself, with weapons in hand, squatting through the exact maps of the game, in adrenaline tip toeing steps, in a real life Call of Duty Battle experinece.

I could hear the bullets whiz by, the bombs go off. There were times of terror as I would get corned and actually feel the bullets hit my body as I awoke for a necessary bathroom break.

It was in me, I couldn't believe the effect of a video game. I put in days of battle time, knowing each new matchup would be different and challenging.

Chess - Move over - Call of Duty is Here to Stay.

Modern Warfare is what started it all. It's what all war games are based off of, and although some are pretty awesome, like Battlefield 3, there will be no other like what Fathered it all - COD4!

Now, at every midnight release, 5 titles later, I still don't bore of the Call of Duty series, and I think 100 million other gamers would have to agree...
