We Saw Great Things from the Airplane Windows - Photo Gallery
64DIA to PHX
Photos from the Flight
On a recent trip to the Sun filled valley of Phoenix, AZ we flew from Denver International Airport to Sky Harbour Airport on Southwest Airlines. Along the way of this brief 110 minute flight, I snapped some pictures in the air.
Starting with a close fly by of the Skyline of the Mile High City of Denver and it's buildings, arenas, amusement parks, rods, little people, cars, and more - the view from the airplane window is always spectacular!
Then cascading over the Rocky Mountains and the ridged peaks of the San Luis DeCristo mountain Ranges, with the autumn foliage changing right below us. Then over what makes america work. The farmlands of Southern Colorado with radiant circles drawn into the landscape, a few types of crop that will end up on our dinner tables.
Then over the Rolling hills of Northern Arizona with active wild fires, and then over and into the Valley of the Sun into Phoenix, Arizona with it's green palms, desert hills, and scenic southwestern views, we touched down with not a bump and enjoyed our stay.

How Amazing!
Everytime I fly, I think of the wonders of flight. The views from 35,000 feet are spectacular and flying the DIA to PHX route or the Phoenix to Denver Flight, we are always amazed with what we see out of our small airplane windows.
