Haunted Third Bridge needs a Revisit! Colorado

The Legend of Third Bridge

Third Bridge needs a Revisit.
Awhile back I was intrigued by findings online about the legend of Third Bridge. I have been there years ago and I shared my High School experiences of visiting Third Bridge one night with a friend. I heard the Indian Drums, I felt the air.
I explained it wasn't until online research did I discover that others who have visited the area have shared similar experiences. Some have even seen a ghost horse and peculiar figures on the road. Cars are visible and then disappear. The Indian drums growing louder are the most prevalent stories. And for these, I argue for the fact, that this was indeed spiritual.
And of course, now I share with you more - more researching has clued me into new possibilities? Are there oil wells pumping the sounds at night. Do the phenomenon of ground temperature in prime conditions cause the sound to travel further, pulsing with the thickness of the pockets of air? Does colliding air temps create distant movement, fooling the already imaginative eyes?
Now, I also understand that there is confusion as to what road Third Bridge runs over. Most say the eastern dirt roads of County Line, but I swear it was off the bridge on Quincy that I heard these events. A visit back to the area will help refresh my memories.
I still live in Aurora, Colorado - Less than ten miles from either destination, and in all these years I have only drove over these bridges on rare occasion in the daylight hours, never stopping to explore, but always sharing of the times I was there. Looking deeper and Google mapping the area, we see that a historical Graveyard lies just Northeast of Third Bridge on Quincy Rd.
My own interest is drawing me back. We will start with a visit to these areas by day. See what the environment is like, and bring what we find back to you.

I have been there too, years ago while in HS. I lived in Castle Rock at the time. My memory is very hazy over the event and I actually just tonight even recalled it at all. I definitely heard the drums and I know that something else happened. I CAN'T RECALL WHAT!! I have been scouring the internet trying to figure it out and was honestly surprised that this is so prevalent on line. I too am considering a revisit but I can't recall exactly where it is and apparently another bridge has been built out there so it is now the fourth bridge? I am actually really freaked out and wish I could recall that night with any real clarity. I definitely remember the drums, and possibly fleeing in a panic but I am not certain...
