So a lot of talk at the (CES) Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year was all about the new addition of 3D to the Xbox Kinect, and what a better way to get the consumer's all amped up about the new trend, Star Wars 3D will be hitting the Xbox Kinect late 2012.

Although the talk is that the Star Wars Kinect Bundle for the Xbox 360 will be coming out in late spring, complete with the replica R2-D2 exterior design and a shiny gold C-3PO Xbox controller, the Star Wars Bundle will include the first version of Star Wars fo Kinect, but Lucasfilm and game developers are holding out to release the 3D Star Wars Experience til the last part of the year.

With the Kinect for Xbox 360 - You are the controller, that means you'll be waiving your lightsaber and taking the actual controls of your X-Wing Fighter and Pod Racers, and you'll be able to Stomp around around causing as much Havoc as you can in the 'Rancor Monster' Mini Games..!

Throw on your sterescopic glasses, included with Star Wars 3D, and start taking on the Dark Side. Use an array of weapons and vehicles in a slew of familiar Star wars Environments as you level up and gain Jedi experience in a cinematic world that will take your breath away..!

Until then, Episode 1: Phantom Menace 3D will hit theaters early summer and there will be more to follow after that.

Sites like Amazon.com and Gamestop.com are listing the Release Date of Kinect Star Wars 3D to be set for 12/31/12.

So pretty much we're all going to have to wait until 2013 before we can take on the pod racers on Tatooine as you fly through the canyons with complete control, as the 3D explosions and debris surround you.

Fly through Endor on your speeder bike as you join the Ewok Army and take on the imperial Storm Troopers on your fight to restore order to the galaxy.

Drop those At-At on the snow fields of Hoth or partake in Epic Star Wars battles on places like Naboo, the Death Star, through the Imperial Fleet, on Dag-o-bah, and much more.

Join Han Solo, Princess Leah, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth vader, Darth Maul and the full cast of star Wars characters, but this time, you're in the story and you make the decision....
