MW3 Content Drops
Call of Duty Elite DLC Schedule Announced:
- 20 Pieces announced
- 9 Month First Season
- Jan. 2012 through Sept. 2012
Activison has recently announced what will be delivered in the Call of Duty Elite DLC for the first Nine Months of 2012.
These 'Content Drops' are included with your annual $49.99 Call of Duty Elite Premier Membership, your $4.99 a month Elite Subscription, or by waiting and purchasing on Xbox Live first, before the PC or PS3.
Playing Video Games online is changing trends. Instead of just purchasing DLC over long periods of time, MW3 game developers are offering a more consistent variety of additions to keep the gamer more involved, and more interested in the game titles like MW3 - in turn creating longer replay value and a better overall game.

The first to be released are two new maps for Modern Warfare 3.
'Piazza' is a small Italian village set on the white sand of the Mediterranean Ocean and the green Mountains creating a hilly, tight environment of Cat & Mouse.
'Liberation' is an expansive map with plenty of places to hide. Set in New York's Central Park, this new MW3 map has a lot to offer for each different Game Mode.
Twenty (20) New Content Drops will be announced only shortly before their release, but so far, Activision has released this Modern Warfare 3 DLC Schedule:

- January: Two new maps (Liberation and Piazza) RELEASED 1-24-2012
- February: New map
- March: New map, two new Spec Ops missions
- April: Two new maps
- May: New map, new Spec Ops mission
- June: New map, new Spec Ops mission, new game mode
- July: Two new maps
- August: New map, new Spec Ops mission, new game mode
- September: New map, new Spec Ops mission

Elite needs the Ground war level that contains all elite maps just saying
hmmm sounds like a pretty big cash cow tbh, just stick to good old cod 4, mw2 and blops... they seem to have been balanced better than mw3 anyway, at least you dont die if you see a granade exploding at 100yds. Wont be getting updates.
For me, MW3 is just too boring, the whole Elite thing just made me switch to Skyrim.
